Who are we?

We are TOOT Cosmetics BV and registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number: 77952235. We are responsible for processing personal data as referred to in the European General Data Protection Regulation ('GDPR'). When processing your personal data, we comply with the obligation under this GDPR.

Securely locked

We put all data that you leave on our website very securely under lock and key with the most modern techniques. Anyone who has nothing to do with your data simply cannot access it. If we give your data to someone else – you can read below why and when we do that – then we demand that that other person handles your data just as carefully as we do and only uses it for the purpose for which it was received.

What do we do with your data?

We use your data for various purposes. For example, goals related to the execution of your order, goals for which you have given us permission first or goals that we ourselves consider important. After this you can see which goals those are. We use the data received from you, but also the data collected by ourselves. For example, information about your visit to our website.

1. Execution of the agreement

Deliver your order

To process your order, we need your name, e-mail address, address(es), payment details and also your telephone number. With this we can deliver your order and keep you informed about your order.

Your account

In your account on our website, we store, among other things, the following information: your name, address(es), telephone number, e-mail address, shipping details, age, language, invoices and orders. Handy, because then you don't have to re-enter this information every time. We also store information about your previous orders (including invoices) so that you can easily find them.

Customer service

You can app us, fill in the contact form on the website, contact us via social media or send an e-mail. In order to be able to help you quickly with questions, we use the personal data and information you provide. We process this to handle your questions or complaints and to provide you with a good service.

Contests

If you participate in a campaign or competition, we ask for your name, address, e-mail address, telephone number and sometimes your age/date of birth. This way we can carry out the promotion and announce the prize winner(s).

Postpay

If you buy items that you do not want to pay immediately, we can check your creditworthiness. We can use external agencies for this. We can provide your data to these external agencies for the credit investigation. They may only use this data for that purpose. In addition, we can call you to remind you of an invoice that has expired. We can also pass on your details to a collection agency and/or bailiff who collects unpaid invoices on our behalf.

2. Processing with your consent

Email newsletters (opt out)

If you have ordered products on our website, we will use your name and e-mail address to send you our e-mail newsletter with information about similar products and services from TOOT, unless you have indicated that you do not wish to receive these e-mails.

Email newsletters (opt-in)

In addition, we also use your name and e-mail address to send our e-mail newsletter, if you have given us permission to do so in another way.

If you no longer wish to receive newsletters from us, unsubscribe via the link in the newsletter or by sending an e-mail to info@toot.nl.

Reviews

We love reviews. And our customers too. If you want to write a review, choose whether your personal details or your name are visible to other visitors. We keep track of who writes which review. The details of the reviews remain visible as long as the review is published. You can always withdraw your permission for this.

3. Processing for our legitimate interest

Improving our store and service

We are constantly working to improve our services. That is why we can use your data to ask you if you want to participate in a no-obligation customer or market research. The survey is always anonymous and the results cannot be traced back to you.

Fraud

No one wants fraud, neither do we. That is why we use data to investigate, prevent and combat fraud.

Social media

We do not get access to your social media account, but you can share articles that you like, useful or useful with your friends. If you ask us a question via social media and we see that question, we will save that message and your account name so that we can respond to your message.

Who do we share your data with?

We do not provide personal data to third parties, unless we are obliged to do so by law. In addition, we may use other service providers for some activities. For example, if the product ordered by you must be paid for or delivered. We also engage service providers for our customer service, to investigate the improvement of our services, for fraud investigations or creditworthiness investigations. These service providers (so-called processors) process the personal data exclusively on our behalf. We have concluded a processing agreement with them in which the service provider is obliged to comply with all legal obligations under the legislation and this Privacy Policy. Via info@toot.nl you can receive more information about our service providers who process personal data on our behalf.
